As it was my first visit to a book fair, I was really surprised when I entered the fair. There were hundreds of stalls in the fair. The environment was really charming. I saw that all kinds of books such as fiction, drama, poetry, novel, biography, translation, children literature, story books, etc. were available in the fair. I bought some books on science fiction and comics. After walking for a long time, we became tired. So, we entered into a food stall and took some light foods. Suddenly, I noticed a crowd in front of a stall. I went there and became really surprised seeing my favourite writer Dr. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal sir. He was giving autographs. I also took an autograph. Trees take in carbondioxide and produce oxygen. Sufficient trees cause sufficient rainfall and prevent draught. Trees along the roadside and coastal areas prevent erosion and tidal bore. But many inconsiderate people are cutting down trees for their selfish interest. So, we are losing trees. If there is no tree, there will be no civilization. Infact, loss of trees will take our existence to the verge of extinction. The earth will be no more habitable. Hence, tree plantation must be taken as a project. The more we plant trees, the more our environment will be balanced and greener. In Bangladesh, tree plantation is compulsory because we do not have so much forest as we require to maintain the ecological balance.
